Query Task#
Doc version:v1.0.0 | Last updated:2026-07-22This platform fully supports the official Tongyi Wanxiang (Wan) video generation API. Requests and responses are transparently proxied; parameter semantics are identical to the official API.
Poll the status and results of any Wan asynchronous task (Text-to-Video, Image-to-Video, Reference-to-Video, Video Editing, First-Last-Frame, Motion Transfer, Digital Human, VACE) using its task_id.
Endpoint#
GET https://platform.dataeyes.ai/ali/api/v1/tasks/{task_id}
Path Parameters#
| Parameter | Type | Required | Description |
|---|
task_id | string | Yes | The output.task_id returned when the task was created; valid for 24 hours |
| Parameter | Type | Required | Description |

Authorization | string | Yes | Bearer {API_KEY} |

Response Fields#
output#
| Field | Type | Description |
|---|
task_id | string | Task ID |
task_status | string | Task status: PENDING, RUNNING, SUCCEEDED, FAILED, CANCELED, UNKNOWN |
submit_time / scheduled_time / end_time | string | Task submission / execution start / completion time, format YYYY-MM-DD HH:mm:ss.SSS |
video_url | string | URL of the generated video, returned only when SUCCEEDED; MP4 (H.264), valid for 24 hours |
orig_prompt | string | Original input prompt |
actual_prompt | string | Rewritten prompt returned when prompt_extend is enabled (not returned by some models) |
code / message | string | Error code and details, returned only when FAILED |
usage#
Usage fields vary slightly across model series; all are counted only for successful results:| Field | Type | Applicable Models | Description |
|---|
duration | number | wan2.7 / wan2.6 / videoedit / s2v / kf2v / vace | Billable video duration (seconds) = input duration + output duration |
input_video_duration | integer | Same as above | Input video duration; 0 for pure generation tasks, counted from the input video for Reference-to-Video / Video Editing |
output_video_duration | integer | Same as above | Output video duration (seconds) |
SR | integer | Same as above | Output resolution tier, e.g. 480, 720, 1080 |
ratio | string | wan2.7 | Output aspect ratio, e.g. 16:9 |
size | string | wan2.6 | Output resolution as "width*height", e.g. 1920*1080 |
video_duration | number | wan2.5 and earlier, animate | Billable video duration (seconds) |
video_ratio | string | "width*height" for wan2.5 and earlier; standard / pro for animate | Output spec identifier |
video_count | integer | All | Number of generated videos, fixed at 1 |
Usage Tips#
Generation typically takes 1–5 minutes; polling at roughly 15-second intervals is recommended. Do not create duplicate tasks while waiting.
Both task_id and video_url are valid for 24 hours: querying after expiry returns UNKNOWN, and the video URL is automatically cleared after expiry — download or transfer to your own storage promptly.
The query endpoint is rate-limited to 20 RPS by default; keep your polling frequency under control.
