Hailuo Video Generation - Overview#
Version: v1.0.0 | Last Updated: 2026-06-05This platform fully supports the Hailuo (MiniMax / Hailuo) video generation API. Requests and responses are transparently proxied, and all parameter semantics remain consistent with the official API.
Capabilities#
Hailuo Video Generation supports four task types, all submitted through a single endpoint POST /hailuo/v1/video_generation. The task type is determined by the model and request body fields:Video generation is an asynchronous task: a task_id is returned immediately upon submission. Use the query endpoint to poll for task status; once the task succeeds, use the file_id with the download endpoint to obtain the video file URL.Standard Workflow#
Create Task (POST /hailuo/v1/video_generation)
│ Returns task_id
▼
Query Status (GET /hailuo/v1/query/video_generation?task_id=...) ← Poll until Success
│ Returns file_id
▼
Get Download URL (GET /hailuo/v1/files/retrieve?file_id=...)
│ Returns download_url
▼
Download MP4 Video File
Endpoints#
| Endpoint | Method | URL |
|---|
| Create Video Task | POST | https://platform.dataeyes.ai/hailuo/v1/video_generation |
| Query Task Status | GET | https://platform.dataeyes.ai/hailuo/v1/query/video_generation |
| Get Video Download URL | GET | https://platform.dataeyes.ai/hailuo/v1/files/retrieve |
URL Pattern: Append the channel prefix /hailuo after the platform domain, followed by the official Hailuo API path.
For example, the official https://api.minimaxi.com/v1/video_generation maps to https://platform.dataeyes.ai/hailuo/v1/video_generation.
Authentication#
All requests require a Bearer token in the HTTP Authorization header:Authorization: Bearer {API_KEY}
{API_KEY} is the API key created in the DataEyes console.| Header | Required | Description |
|---|
Authorization | Yes | Bearer {API_KEY} |
Content-Type | Yes | Must be application/json (for task creation endpoints) |
Common Response Status (base_resp)#
All API responses include a base_resp object:| Field | Type | Description |
|---|
status_code | integer | Status code. 0 indicates success; non-zero indicates an error |
status_msg | string | Status description message |
