Version: v1.0.0 | Last Updated: 2026-06-11This platform fully supports the Doubao Seedance series video generation API. Requests and responses are transparently proxied, and all parameter semantics remain consistent with the official API.
The Seedance Video Generation service delivers high-quality AI video synthesis from text prompts, reference images, source videos, and audio inputs. All generation modes are submitted through a single unified endpoint, with the specific mode determined by the composition of the content array.

Video generation is an asynchronous process. When you submit a task, the API immediately returns a task id. You then poll the query endpoint until the task reaches a terminal status (succeeded, failed, cancelled, or expired). Once the task succeeds, the response body contains the video download URL directly.
1. Create Task
POST /seedance/api/v3/contents/generations/tasks
--> Returns: { "id": "..." }
2. Poll Task Status
GET /seedance/api/v3/contents/generations/tasks/{id}
--> Returns: status, content (video_url), usage, etc.
(Repeat until status is "succeeded", "failed", "cancelled", or "expired")
3. (Optional) Receive Callback
If callback_url was provided, the platform POSTs the task result
to your webhook when the task reaches a terminal state.
The task is currently being processed by the generation engine.
succeeded
The task completed successfully. The video URL is available in the response.
failed
The task encountered an error during processing. See error.code and error.message for details.
cancelled
The task was cancelled by the user before processing began. Cancelled tasks are automatically deleted after 24 hours.
expired
The task exceeded its execution_expires_after timeout while still queued and was automatically expired.
Retention: Task records and generated video URLs are retained for 7 days from task creation. Video download URLs within the response are valid for 24 hours after each query; re-query the task to obtain a fresh URL if needed.
